How it works
What happens on a missed call
A lot of people won't leave a voicemail. They just call the next place on the list. This gives them a reason to stay on the line.
Your phone rings and you can't get it
You're with a customer, on a ladder, or closed for the night. The call goes to the assistant instead of voicemail. Your number stays the same.
It answers and says what it is
First thing, it tells the caller it's an automated assistant, so nobody feels tricked. Then it asks for their name, their number and what they're calling about.
You get the message
Name, number and message, sent to you as a text or an email. You pick which.
You call them back
The conversation that matters is still yours. You already know who they are and what they need.
What it won't do
It takes messages, and that's all
On purpose. A small business can't have a machine making promises for it.
No prices
It won't guess at a quote. Prices depend on the job, and you're the one who knows the job.
No booking
It won't put anything on your calendar or promise a time. You settle that when you call back.
No pretending
It says it's automated at the start of every call. It never acts like someone on your staff.
What it costs
$39 a month, $25 to set up
| MonthlyUp to 100 minutes of calls | $39 |
|---|---|
| SetupOne time | $25 |
| Extra minutesPast 100 in a month | At cost |
At cost means what the extra minutes cost me, passed straight through with nothing added. Most messages only take a minute or two, so 100 minutes covers a lot of missed calls.
Only for businesses with a site from me. If you don't have one yet, that's the place to start. Get a quote.
Try it
Hear it on my line
I run the same assistant on my own number. Call it and leave a message, and you'll hear exactly what your callers would. I get the message and call you back.
